Mitigation Services
As mitigation specialists, we work with criminal defense teams who represent individuals facing lengthy prison terms, including life/death. By conducting detailed investigations, we uncover mitigating circumstances for defense attorneys to use when advocating for their clients to courts, jurors, and prosecutors. We personally interview defendants and their family members and obtain clinical, educational, medical, and other pertinent records. This means defense attorneys have more time to focus on other matters, while feeling confident that they will have all the information they need to provide the strongest arguments and advocate fully for their clients.
In each case, a detailed mitigation report is provided to counsel that portrays the client wholly and with compassion.
Sentencing Advocacy/Other Services
Our reports routinely provide compelling portrayals of people's unique life stories and struggles while addressing a court's concerns for public safety. Additionally, we provide recommendations for social/treatment services to facilitate individuals' rehabilitation.
We are also always available to review and assist attorneys in navigating sentencing guidelines applications.
